ADUscale is qualified to transact intrastate business in the State of California (Entity No. B20250408697, registered December 10, 2025) and holds a City of Los Angeles Business Tax Registration Certificate (Account No. 0003567499).

Nature of Services
ADUscale is not a licensed general contractor, architect, engineer, or lender. ADUscale does not perform, supervise, or subcontract any construction work. We operate exclusively as an independent ADU feasibility analysis, risk assessment, and build-side ADU advisory platform.
Our services include — but are not limited to — the ADU Feasibility & Risk Assessment Report, Owner's Representative oversight, contractor vetting and risk evaluation, and educational resources related to accessory dwelling units in California.
Compensation & Business-Model Disclosures
ADUscale is compensated for its services in more than one way. Homeowners pay directly for feasibility analysis, risk assessment, and build-side ADU advisory services, at the prices published on this Site or stated in the applicable service agreement.
In addition, ADUscale may receive compensation from contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and financing partners in connection with projects, network participation, payment processing, and other services delivered through the ADUscale platform. Where ADUscale receives compensation from a third party in connection with a client's project, the existence of that compensation relationship is disclosed in the applicable service agreement.
ADUscale's contractor verification methodology is data-driven — based on state licensing records, insurance verification, and public inspection-outcome data — and is applied uniformly to contractors in the ADUscale network.
Escrow & Payment Protection
Client payments for build-side ADU advisory services are processed and held through Stripe's escrow infrastructure. Funds are released to service providers only upon completion of defined project milestones and client authorization. ADUscale does not hold, commingle, or directly manage client funds outside of the Stripe platform.
